When printing with this media make sure to use the "Output Platen Protector". Because of the nature of printing on a magnetic substrate, the material will have a tough time advancing without this added barrier in the heating area.

==== Cast vs Calendered ==== 
There are two types of vinyl media, cast and calendared. Cast vinyl is more durable and better for long-term projects, while calendered vinyl is more budget-friendly and better for short-term projects. Both types of vinyl are made from PVC polymer and can be used for graphics AND vehicle wraps. Our standard vinyl media is a cast vinyl which is great for most applications. We do have a cast vinyl on hand, but that requires a price quote since the material is much more expensive.<br>
