Control Strips are processed twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday) for the Frontier printers. Once a week for the Chromira printer.
Process for reading:
- Turn on X-Rite color checker machine at least 5 minutes prior to taking control strip readings
- Open Oasis program on the desktop of the computer
- Click the READ button for the corresponding printer labeled on the control strip
- Take reading in the order displayed on OASIS (typically the order is: D-MAX, HD, LD, STAIN, Y-MAX)
- After the reading is taken click FILE, then SHOW GRAPH
- The Frontier printers will be off by 0.6 or 0.9, this is OK
- Repeat the process for each control strip
- Take all of the labelled control strips to the back and discard ones older than 30 days
