This is how you close if you're the last person to leave the store:

CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES AT FRONT:

  1. Lock front door
  2. Turn on answering machine
  3. (Turn off) Lights for popcorn machine.
  4. Be Sure Film Corn Hole Board Is Out.
  5. Write up any left over orders from the day
  6. Print out Customer Payment Reports in Labworks - Tools --> Financial --> Activity --> Payments --> Detail --> Export --> Print.
  7. Count cash - make sure it matches up with cash on Customer Payment Report ( $300 goes into metal lock box )
  8. Log out of Labworks and turn off monitors - restart computers
  9. Grab Dakis orders out of green binder
  10. Give today's cash/checks/ along with order paperwork to Glen and put cash in lock box (Next to Phone), lock it, and put key on the hook in the "employees only" room.
  11. Empty out trash cans in customer service area and in the lobby
  12. Bring In Black Mat from outside
  13. On Tuesdays/Thursdays vacuum the front area including behind the front counter.


This comes after whatever closing duties are assigned to your position. (**last one out of the building**)

  1. Be sure lights are off in front and shipping area
  2. Check to be sure air dryer on the wall beside refrigerator is off
  3. Check to be sure air compressor is off.
  4. Summertime: Turn Off exhaust fan above film processors and turn on powerful one above Frontiers. (upper right corner: #1 top red off, #3- 3rd down turn on)
  5. To turn on alarm: enter 4 digit clock in code. Hit red button. You have 60 seconds to get out of the building before you become an intruder.
  6. Turn off lights by back door.
  7. Be sure rear glass door is locked as well as the door with combination lock.
