Why make a CD or DVD Manually?

There are several reason's why you may want to make a CD or DVD manually.

- Dvd's do not have do not have a Frontline code as of when this was written, so this is the only way DVD's can be created with a label.

- Making them manually allows you to customize the information on the CD label.

- Making them manually allows you to keep sub folders, where-as making a CD through Color Station will eliminate the folder hierarchy and put all the image files in one folder.


How to Make a CD or DVD Manually

- This must be done from the Rimage Computer, connected to the same monitor as the Frontline System computer, find the toggle to change the monitor and accessories from one machine to the other.

- Open "My Computer" "Windows Explorer" or the "Network" folder, and navigate to the containing folder for your files (usually in \\ADC001\array100\1_Images)

- Copy the containing folder to the desktop (CD/DVD's can only be made from files locally on the computer, you cannot make a CD from files located on the network)
