Canvas Prints

You can find Canvas print on two sections of the website, on the Full Service Prints page under the Services part of the website and in the Wall Art part of the site which is under the Products Category.

Procedure for producing the canvas order when ordered online.

1. Order is written up
2. Technician opens up the job in Design SA to ensure that the customer has chosen a pleasant crop and that no white is showing on the edges of the image area.
3. If changes are made, update the quantity ordered in Design SA to 1 and hit OK. The job will be sent to hold in Frontline/ColorStation.
4. Look for the new Design SA modified job and make color corrections as necessary. Release the job.
5. The flat newly designed file will be exported to the Canvas Prints folder and is ready for further inspection and enhancement.
6. Inspect the file for resolution, color, contrast and any minor retouching.
7. In the work order, you can see the customers instruction for stretcher frame depth, and how to handle the edges of the canvas wrap. Prepare the file as instructed.
8. Once the final file is prepared, make a low-res version of the file and prepare it for email test. Since the canvas wraps and what they can potentially do to the finished piece, we need to send the customer an email test version so that they can approve the final file before moving forward with printing and stretching.
