Checking and Cleaning Print Head

1. Press Menu
2. Select TEST PRINT
3. Select NOZZLE CHECK, and wait for the print
4. Check the printed pattern for missing segments and dots. If you find some, run a cleaning cycle and print another test.

Adjusting the Platen Gap for a Specific Media

We currently have one media that we print on that is a bit more finicky. In order to print with that media successfully, we have to adjust the platen gap. When making this adjustment, make sure to set the platen gap back to our default which is "Standard".

1. Press Menu
2. Select Printer Setup
3. Select Platen Gap
4. Make your selection Between Narrow, Standard, Wide, Wider and Widest.
5. Refer to the Media Section above for the appropriate Platen Gap Width.
